Twenty years ago, Nestor Jose had a dream to professionalize the mortuary business. He wanted to establish a mortuary that renders personalized and sincere service in the Philippines. Arlington Memorial Chapels started in 1982 with its first branch in Rizal avenue, Manila. Jose was then the undisputed leading supplier of caskets for the elite class. He instituted a new set of values, ethics and performance  in the mortuary business. With the opening of Arlington,it started projects such as the libreng libing for the masses, giving each municipality 10 caskets and complete service to the indigent people with the cooperation of the mayors.

  Arlington Memorial Chapels Araneta Avenue was opened 3 years later. His sons Rafael and Ramon Jose helped out in the company business and continued the man’s legacy for personalized service.Standing by its values, they expanded their assistance by servicing the leading pre-need plans such as Pacific Memorial Plans, Prudential, Loyola, Provident, Consolidated and Eternal Life Plans. 

The year 2000 marked another milestone for Arlington. In memory of its founder Nestor Jose, Arlington East, The Garden Chapels was launched in C. Raymundo avenue, Pasig. Located in front of Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Arlington East gives you the feeling of peace and serenity to help families cope with the death of a loved one. Arlington has provided people with the supportive atmosphere.
